Your Day-To-Day Work
Development, maintenance and quality assurance of Westinghouse-specific software codes such as ABBOT, ACE and Fuel Inspection AI where your tasks also includes documentation in reports, where English is the language. Examples of innovation projects that you may be involved in is development of codes containing machine learning, optimization and front end development.
Who You Are
Your academic background is Master or Bachelor of Science (computer science, data science, engineering physics, system analysis or equivalent) whereas working experience in the field is a plus. You have knowledge in software development using Python with version handling using Git. You feel comfortable working in a Linux environment. It is valuable if you have experience from front end development using modern web frameworks such as Vue or Svelte and have general UX/UI skills. Knowledge about machine learning and especially PyTorch on the Azure platform is valuable.
You are an analytical person with a good sense of accuracy, accountability and safety. Your communication skills are good in both written and spoken English and preferably also in Swedish, and you enjoy working both independently as well as in a team. As documentation is an essential part of the work, you should also have a talent for writing reports.
